In this three session workshop, we will learn about composition, value, proportions, and mark making to depict three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional page using graphite and charcoal. Tailored to accommodate both novices and seasoned artists, this class is the perfect way to expand your artistic knowledge and have an enriching experience. This course is divided into three parts, where each time you will learn new skills. With a hands on instructor leading the way, you'll gain valuable tips and tricks you'll cherish for a lifetime. In this course you will discover your own personal style and walk away with a piece of art to proudly show off at home. Let your mind unwind while challenging yourself in a whole new way! Whats included: Everything! Quality supplies to use during the class, including graphite, charcoal, pencils, erasers, paper, drawing boards, aprons, and clean up materials. Just bring yourself! Optional: If you'd like to invest in your own art supplies or have some you already own-bring them! You can even store your supplies here at the studio for safe keeping. If you'd like to purchase your own materials, ask us for our suggested materials list! About the instructor: Antonia Constantine is a recent MFA graduate from Indiana University with a focus on painting. Her work explores self-reflection and surrealism, inviting viewers into imaginative worlds filled with vibrant colors and distorted perspectives. Antonia's work has been featured in exhibitions across the Midwest. Her artistic eye and years of teaching make her an engaging and thoughtful teacher and we're so lucky to have her!
